Services
The Services screen is where you manage Nettica's hosted infrastructure — relay and tunnel services that give your networks a fixed entry point in the cloud. Each service consumes one subscription credit. The screen is divided into two sections: a summary of your subscriptions at the top, and the list of active services below.

Relay vs. Tunnel
Nettica offers two kinds of hosted service through the mobile app:
- Relay service — a WireGuard peer hosted in the cloud that connects all devices in a network together without requiring any device to have a public IP address or open firewall port. Choose a location close to your home or office for best latency. Devices behind NAT can communicate through the relay without any port-forwarding configuration.
- Tunnel service — routes all internet traffic from your devices through the hosted exit point, masking your real IP address and making it appear as though you are in the chosen geographic location. Use a tunnel when you need a consistent public IP, want to bypass geographic restrictions, or want to hide your ISP address.
To add "In the Wild" service, use the Services tab on the Nettica VPN Admin website.
Subscription Summary
At the top of the screen you see your subscription credits at a glance:
- Total credits — the number of service slots your active subscriptions provide. Expired credits are shown separately in parentheses.
- Available credits — credits not yet assigned to a service (total active credits minus the number of services currently running).
If you have no subscription yet, the subscriptions section displays "no subscription — purchase a subscription to add services". If you have a subscription but no services, it shows "no services — add a service to get started".
Adding a Service
Tap the floating action button at the bottom right. Depending on your credit balance, the button label changes:
- Buy subscription — shown when you have no active credits. Opens the Subscriptions screen.
- Renew subscription — shown when all credits have expired and renewal is available on this platform.
- Upgrade subscription — shown when all credits are in use but you have an active subscription. Takes you to the store to add more credits.
- Wizards — shown when you have available credits. Opens the Wizards screen to guide you through configuring a service step by step.
Tapping a Service
Tap an existing service row to join this device to a network or activate it. If the service's network is already configured on this device, tapping it enables the corresponding VPN. If the device is not yet in that network, tapping the service adds your device to it.
Searching Services
Tap the search icon in the app bar to filter the service list by name or description. The list updates as you type.
Removing a Service
Swipe a service row to the left to delete it. A confirmation dialog appears before any action is taken. Deleting a service:
- Stops and removes the VPN configuration on this device (if connected)
- Removes the service from all devices in the network
- Returns one credit to your available balance
Deleting a service removes the hosted WireGuard endpoint from your network permanently. All devices in that network will lose connectivity through the service. You must be an admin to delete a service.
Windows and Linux
In-app purchases are not available on Windows or Linux. If you need a subscription, tap the button and the app will offer to open nettica.com in your browser where you can purchase a plan and apply it to your account.
