Subscriptions

Nettica subscriptions give you credits that you spend on hosted relay and tunnel services. Each active service consumes one credit. The Subscriptions screen (reached from the main menu) lets you browse available plans, purchase a new subscription, restore a previous purchase, or view the terms of service.

How Credits Work

When you purchase a subscription plan, you receive a number of service credits. Each credit lets you run one hosted WireGuard service (relay or tunnel). Credits are consumed when you create a service and returned when you delete it. If all your credits are in use and you need another service, upgrade to a plan with more credits or purchase an additional subscription.

Credits are account-wide — they are shared across all devices registered to your account and visible in the Services screen's subscription summary.

Available Plans

The screen lists all plans available for purchase on your platform. Each row shows the plan name, description, and price. Plans that are already active on your account are marked with a checkmark (✅ active). Expired plans are flagged with a warning (❗ expired or ‼️ expired).

Yearly plans are indicated and include two months free compared to the equivalent monthly plan. Special promotional offers are flagged with a star (⭐️ special offer!).

Purchasing a Plan

Tap any plan row or its price button to begin the purchase flow. The system App Store (iOS/macOS) or Google Play Store (Android) sheet appears — complete the payment there. After a successful purchase:

  1. The app verifies the receipt with the Nettica server.
  2. A "purchased" confirmation snackbar appears.
  3. The screen closes automatically after a few seconds.
  4. Your new credits are reflected in the Services screen immediately.

On iOS and macOS, a subscription purchased with one Apple ID stays permanently linked to the Nettica account it was first purchased in. If you sign in to Nettica with a different account and restore purchases, you will see an "account mismatch" warning. Contact support if you need help resolving this.

Restoring Purchases

If you reinstalled the app, switched to a new device, or your subscription credit does not appear in the Services screen after a purchase, you can restore your entitlements.

Simply launching the app triggers the restore process in the background. The app contacts the App Store or Google Play, retrieves all prior transactions, and re-verifies each one with the Nettica server. Any valid subscriptions that are not yet in your account are added.

Managing Billing

Ongoing billing is managed entirely by the platform where you originally subscribed:

Privacy Policy and EULA

Links to the Nettica Privacy Policy and the platform End-User License Agreement (EULA) appear at the bottom of the Subscriptions screen. Tap either link to open it in your device's browser.
