Devices
The Devices screen lists every device registered to your Nettica account. Each row shows the device name and its description. Expanding a device reveals every network it belongs to and the VPN configuration for each one.
Open Devices in the Nettica app →
Searching Devices
Tap the search icon in the app bar and type to filter devices by name. The list narrows with each character you enter. Clear the field to show all devices.
Adding a Device
Tap the add device floating action button (the + icon at the bottom right) to register a new device. You will be prompted to give the device a name and description.
Viewing and Editing a Device
Tap any device row to open its edit dialog. The fields you can view or change include:
- Name — the device's DNS hostname used across all its networks
- Description — a free-text label visible to all account members
- Owner — the account member who owns this device
- Text chat — toggle to allow or block text chat with this device
- Video chat — toggle to allow or block video calls to this device
- Conference — toggle to allow or block conference room participation
- Created / Updated / Last seen — read-only timestamps
You must be logged in and an account admin or owner to edit another user's device. You can always view and edit your own device's details.
Join Network (Admin)
If you are an admin or owner, each device row has a join network icon button (a network-plus icon). Tapping it opens the Join Network screen in the context of that specific device, letting you add any device to a network. It will be added the next time the device syncs with the server.
Expanding a Device to See Its Networks
Tap the expand arrow on a device row to see all the networks that device belongs to, along with its VPN configuration for each network.
- Tap a network connection to open the VPN Settings screen and edit that device's WireGuard configuration for that network.
- Swipe left to remove the device from the specified network. A confirmation dialog appears before anything is deleted.
Deleting a Device
Swipe a device row to the left to reveal the delete action. After confirming, the device is removed from all networks and its WireGuard keys are revoked.
You cannot delete the current device from the Devices screen. To delete the device you are currently using, go to Settings and use the Delete button there instead.
Deleting a device from the server is permanent. The device will need to be re-registered and re-joined to any networks it previously belonged to.
Pull Down to Refresh
Pull the device list downward and release to re-fetch the latest device registrations and network membership information from the server.
